How to Add a New Post as a Tutor?

To create a post on Clasora, you must be registered as a tutor. Follow the steps below to successfully advertise your lessons.

Step 1: Register as a Tutor

  • If you haven’t done so already, sign up and register as a tutor on Clasora. Follow the registration process to create your account.

  • In the menu, click on “Create New Post.”

Step 4: Fill in Post Details

Provide the necessary details for your post:

1. Post Information

  • Select the Subject You Teach
    Choose the specific subject area for your lessons from the dropdown menu. This is crucial as it informs potential students about the content you offer. If your subject is not available in the list, please contact us at office@clasora.com for assistance.

  • Select Tags (Optional)
    Choose relevant tags that best represent your class. These tags help potential students find your lessons more easily based on their interests and needs.

    • Example Tags: High school, FCE, CAE
  • Suggest New Tags (Optional)
    If you have additional tags that aren’t listed, feel free to suggest them. Approved suggestions will be added to our system.

  • Select the Languages You Can Teach In
    Indicate all the languages you are comfortable teaching. You will need to provide descriptions for each selected language.

2. Post Descriptions

When creating a post, you need to write a description for each language you selected. If you listed more than one language, you will need to translate your post accordingly.

  • Description Guidelines:
    • Avoid Personal Contact Information: Do not include your phone number or website links in your descriptions.
    • Content to Include:
      • Introduction: Briefly introduce yourself, mentioning your qualifications and teaching experience.
      • Lesson Organization: Describe how your lessons are structured and what materials you use.
      • Teaching Style: Explain your approach to teaching the language.
      • Learning Outcomes: State what students will achieve or learn from your classes.

Character Limit:
Ensure each description meets the minimum requirement of 180 characters to provide enough detail.

3. Location and Price

  • Location

    • Is class online:
      Indicate whether the class will be conducted online. Select Yes if you offer virtual lessons via platforms like Zoom or Google Meet. Select No if the class is not available online.

    • Is class in person:
      Specify if you provide in-person classes. Choose Yes if you are available to meet students at a designated location, such as their home or a public space. Select No if you do not offer in-person sessions.

    • Country:
      Enter the country where you will be teaching. This is required if class is in-person.

    • City:
      Enter the city where your classes will take place. This is required if class is in-person.

  • Duration

    • Set the duration of your class (minutes):
      Specify how long your lessons will last. Enter a duration in minutes, ensuring it’s a reasonable length for effective learning.
  • Price

    • Set the price for your class:
      Indicate the cost of your lessons. Pricing transparency is crucial for attracting potential students. Enter the price in the appropriate field.

    • Currency:
      Select the currency you will accept for your tutoring services. This is essential for students to understand the cost in their local currency, ensuring there are no misunderstandings regarding pricing.


Step 5: Post Approval Process

After submitting a post as a tutor on Clasora, your submission enters the approval process. Here’s a detailed overview of what to expect during this period:

1. Submission Review

  • Initial Screening: Once a post is submitted, it is queued for review. Our moderation team will conduct an initial screening to ensure that the submission is complete and meets the basic requirements.

  • Content Evaluation: The team will evaluate the content of your post against our community guidelines, which include:

    • Relevance: Ensuring the content matches the subject area and tutoring services offered.
    • Quality: Assessing the clarity, structure, and professionalism of the submission.
    • Compliance: Verifying that all provided information adheres to our platform policies, including no inclusion of personal contact details.

2. Approval Timeline

  • Estimated Duration: The review process typically takes between 48 to 72 hours. This timeframe may vary based on:
    • The volume of submissions received.
    • The complexity of the content being reviewed.
    • Weekend Considerations: Please note that submissions made during the weekend may take longer to review, as our moderation team operates primarily on weekdays. If you submit your post on a Friday, the approval may extend into the following week.
    • Holiday Considerations: During public holidays, the review process may experience additional delays. Posts submitted around holidays may take longer to be reviewed, as our team may have reduced availability during these periods.

3. Notification

  • Post Approval: Once your post is approved, you will receive a notification via email. This notification will inform you that your post is now live on the platform and accessible to potential students.

  • Rejection Notification: In cases where a post does not meet the required standards, the moderation team will notify you of the reasons for rejection. You will have the opportunity to revise and resubmit your post based on the feedback provided.
